Die Mensch Maschine, or The Man Machine was the seventh studio release from German electronic pioneers Kraftwerk.
Released in May 1978 it features two of the groups most well know compositions ‘The Robots‘ and the crossover hit ‘The Model‘. Recorded at the groups very own Kling Klang studios this release is among many a fans favourites by the band and also features the tunes Spacelab, Metropolis, Neon Lights and The Man Machine.
The stylish Red and Black cover was photographed by Günther Fröhling with additional typography, influenced by the Russian constructivism style by Karl Klefisch. Transformed into shades of grey and black with Tombo brush pens by me.
